1 month in Wendover

Well we continue to survive the high roller life. Troy has worked with Intrepid Potash for 4 weeks now and is doing well. He is currently working on upgrading the mill where the potash gets refined by identifying new sensors and controls to place in the mill to better monitor production. He is also working on screen shots for a new program the company bought so that the operators and engineers can monitor all the equipment on the computer through the web. Carli is surviving the lonely days at home, but thankfully the branch here has a lot of nice people in it. Carli currently attends a day out at the park every Tuesday for a few hours of outside time with other moms from the branch. Carli was just called as the Nursery leader....big surprise! She is great with the kids, unfortunetly Jordan is half the nursery. Jordan has had mom as a nursery leader now for most of his nursery time. Jordan loves going to nursery though! Troy was also called as 2nd counselor in the YM presidency and is re-learning what is was like to be a youth again. Things really are well just a little dull in a town of a few thousand people that's secluded from any other real town by over an hour in any direction. We could talk to most of our neighbors if we only knew Spanish!! If you want a good idea of what town is like just visit google earth and type in Wendover, UT. You can click on the photos people have posted of the city to get an idea of what life is like here. Attached are a few photo's of the boys. We would have some pictures of the carnival we went to two weeks ago but they're on Troy's phone and we forgot the usb attachement to download them, but will post them as soon as we can. The carnival was fun for Jordan, but the workers were a little scary looking to say the least. There are some photos of the city pool that opened up this holiday weekend. Jorday had a lot of fun, though both Carli and Troy got burned...we'll spare you those photos ;-) Anyways hope everyone is doing well, we love ya'll!!
