hat and straw from his Aunt Geralyn
Well time keeps plugging along and we have finished 6 weeks of our life in Wendover. Recently there have been a lot of thunder storms coming through, hence our post title. Wind gusts can get up to 40 mph with the storms, but usually very little rain accompanies them, hence this being a desert. Work continues to go well for Troy. He has been bugeted $10,000 a month to purchase equipment to install in the plant, and last month he did not disappoint in spending every last cent, and is looking forward to matching the quota for this month. He also is working on testing two positive displacement pumps that aren't giving the right volume based on the pump settings. Not too much else is going on that is exciting there at the plant, just getting into the groove of working on the projects that have been assigned. Carli is hanging in as a stay at home mom with little to do in terms of outside fun. She does a good job keeping the boys entertained with little sleep as Emmett is still not sleeping through the night. She is excited as her sister-in-law Erin gave birth to her twin's (Kayloni & Clark), though there are ups and downs with their improvement & growth. We continue to pray & fast for their health and eventual homecoming. Jordan does the best he can with the new environment and being a 2 year-old. At times we hope that turning 3 will smooth out some of the ups and downs in moodiness. We still love his quirks and commentary on everything he's doing. Often he thinks he is the best comedian saying what he thinks is a joke and then laughing at it. Carli took him to his first movie at the theatre last week (going to see Night at the Museum, or as he likes to call it, the dinosaur movie). We were surprised a few months ago when he sat through a whole movie Carli rented, and decided he might enjoy going to a theatre, which he did. Hopefully this will give us an option to go see a few kiddie movies at the theatre and give us a night out. Emmett is also doing well. He is our super smiley boy and is growing fast. He is handling the refluxing much better than Jordan did which is a relief aside from always smelling like spit-up. Enjoy the pictures of the boys and video of Emmett. We send out love to ya'll from wild windy Wendover.
