Family,
Sorry about the lack of posting from our family, we tried to post about 4 weeks ago but our pictures weren't uploading and we thought we'd try again....then we just got busy and forgot. Anyways so time has flown by and we are writing this blog back in Provo. I was amazed at how quickly our time in Wendover came and went. We really ending up not wanting to have to leave. If you had asked us back before we went if we would have missed it this much we would have laughed in your face....well ok we would have been more mature about it, but still who would have thought. It really is the people we will miss, not the town by any stretch of the imagination. The last few weeks at work were like the past few, sometimes a good amount of work to do, but in the end there were still some down times with not a whole lot of work to do. Unfortunately Troy learned that is the way of things being delayed and changed on you. Overall though Troy learned a lot of different things while on the job and enjoyed the experience. It helped Troy learn a lot about what life will be like as a chemical engineer, and if I can find a good company(somewhere in AZ) to work for it should be a rewarding career. As for the past few weeks for our family it has been busy and fun. We went up to Idaho for Carli's Burch side family reunion. We "roughed" it by pitching a tent outside next to the lodge where most everyone slept. If it hadn't of gotten so cold at night then we all could have slept out their each night but Emmett didn't do to well so Troy stayed with with Emmett inside the lodge. It was a lot of fun playing outside/inside games, talking, hiking and relaxing. One of the evening we drove to Jackson Hole, WY where Carli's grandpa Burch paid for a dinner/show at a place called Bar J. It was a BBQ and country song/humor show that was a lot of fun. Overall it was a lot of fun. Then on Saturday of that week we went up Provo Canyon to Carli's grandpa Burch's family reunion. It is just a afternoon of lunch and games and it was fun as well. All in all that week was pretty busy and wore us out. As for now everyone but Troy has been sick with a bad cough/runny nose for about a week and unfortunately it means we probably won't get to go see Tyler & Erin and the babies, which we are T-totally(West Virgina phrase) bummed about ;-(. We are happy to be back in Provo, though Troy is not excited about going back to school; he so just wants to be done! He is excited about the upcoming BYU football season....GO COUGARS!!! Well we know that was the quick wrap up of the past few weeks, but we'll try to get back to our normal two week posting. We love all our family, Clarke & Burch ,and miss everyone!!
Jordan on his first hike. He was a trooper as we went about 2 miles. Emmett did well in the makeshift carrier we made for him.
